Laurel Burch is part of Americana. She is our American folk artist who is remembered for her fashionable and colorful art which is found today on cat purses, horse purses, tote bags, jewelry, silk scarves and many other personal items.

Margaret Le Van, a decorative artist known for her custom designed fabrics and handbags, also created the whimsical Alley Cats line of figurines loved by so many. Retired Alley Cat figurines are available at Katbird as well as the latest Alley Cat Domestic Diva figurines and ornaments. Many of the Alley Cat ornaments are smaller replicas of retired Alley Cat figurines that are no longer available.

Katbird searches the collections of various clothing designers several times a year to find tops, sweaters and jackets with cat themed embellishments that are attractive, comfortable and most of all, fun to wear.
